It’s a good thing that the USL and the NASL came to a conclusion. But is this league for 2010 going to affect the Islanders scheduel? Last year, since the CONCACAF Champions League was a month earlier, affected the team’s scheduel and had forced Colin Clarke to use the reserve team to play in the CCL and the “A” team to play in the USL playoffs. With this in mind, it just makes me wonder if the team wants to go against Ponce and hopefully win the game and the CFU Club Championship to qualify for the CCL.

I think the USL was interested when they were looking for division II sanctioning and needed more teams. At this point, I don’t think any PRSL teams will joing for the 2010 season. But there is still a possibility for 2011. We should be talking with Ponce’s president in the next few days.

It’s a good thing that Cristian Arrieta stays with the club. It would also be a goodthing if Gaudette stays too. But what about the other players? Jonathan Steele left the Islanders for the Vancouver Whitecaps! What else happend?

Wrong. It’s not their job to make decisions for you. They’ve forced everyone to do what should have already happened.
